1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use related technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixel beacons. This policy refers to all of these collectively as "cookies."
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
Required for the site to function. You cannot opt out of these. We use them for:
- Session management and login state on the dashboard (when the main app is live).
- CSRF protection and form submission integrity.
- Spam and bot protection on signup, contact, and affiliate forms.
- Locale and language preference.
Performance and analytics cookies
Help us understand how the site is used. Set only after consent in jurisdictions where consent is required (EU, UK). We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider that captures aggregated usage patterns, traffic sources, and conversion events. IP addresses are anonymized.
Functional cookies
Remember your preferences (language, theme, cookie consent state). Set after consent where required.
Marketing cookies
We do not currently set marketing or advertising cookies. If we add them in the future (for example, for retargeting), we will update this policy and request consent before setting them.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties when you interact with their content embedded on our site. The categories of third parties we currently rely on are:
- Bot protection providers: spam and abuse protection on forms.
- Analytics providers: privacy-respecting aggregated usage measurement.
We do not embed third-party social-media widgets, video players, or advertising networks on this marketing site at the time of this policy.
4. How long cookies persist
- Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: kept between sessions until they expire or you delete them. Maximum lifetime: 13 months for analytics cookies, 12 months for preference cookies.
5. How to control cookies
You can manage your cookie preferences in three ways:
- Our consent banner (when you first visit from the EU/UK): accept all, reject non-essential, or customize per category.
- Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Doing so may break parts of the site.
- Opt-out tools: for analytics cookies you can use the relevant industry opt-out programs (NAI, DAA, EDAA).
Note that strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled, without them the site will not function.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by law. We do not currently honor the older Do Not Track (DNT) header because it has been deprecated by major browsers.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the site.
